D&AD Annual 2013

Design industry awards

D&AD President Neville Brody wanted the focus of 2013’s Annual to be the future of creative education. Appropriately, he chose Wolf Ollins designer Fleur Isbell, a former D&AD Student of the Year, to create the concept.

In order to emphasise the inclusive, international nature of the awards, the front section uses abstract colour representations of each entrant country, each algorithmically generated from geo coordinates.

I worked on layout, design support and artworking with assistance from a couple of fantastic creatives, and liaised closely with the D&AD team to make the editorial and production process as effective as possible.

What I did:

  • In-house design
  • Layout
  • Print production
  • Artworking
  • Scheduling
